Synopsis

A high-throughput genotyping platform that uses a one-primer assay to genotype over 10,000 SNPs per individual on a single oligonucleotide array: restriction digestion fractionates the genome, a specific fractionated subset is amplified, and alleles are read by allele-specific hybridization to the array. The technical basis of the GeneChip Mapping 10K array; an erratum correcting a sequence followed in July 2004.
