Synopsis

Clinical validation of the RNA-sequencing Afirma MTC classifier for medullary thyroid carcinoma: 100% sensitivity (21 of 21 MTC fine-needle aspirates called positive; 95% CI 83.9-100%) and 100% specificity (190 of 190 non-MTC aspirates called negative; CI 98.1-100%). Kennedy is twenty-second of twenty-four authors.
